Shan's Ventures

Hi,

My name is Shannon Horan. I am 25 years old and have big dreams to see the world. I’m starting this page for two reasons: 1. To help me keep all my travels in one place. 2. To inspire others to go see what’s out there.

A little about me. I went to school for Marketing Analytics and Finance. I currently own a business, wissotacandles.org. I make soy wax candles and all of my jars are recycled beer, wine, and liquor bottles (with the occasional random jars that people give me). I started that business with the goal to make a cleaner version of a candle than what you find in stores.

In my free time, I’m usually hiking, spending time with my dog and friends, exploring new coffee shops and breweries, making candles, playing volleyball, antiquing, or planning my next trip. Currently, I am planning a trip to Ireland in March.
